Searchblox Software, Inc. has released Version 3.0 of its Content Search Software with capabilities to aggregate and search RSS and Atom Web feeds. The new features in the latest version of SearchBlox include: unified search of Feed, Web site, and File System Content; support for RSS and Atom formats; automatic generation of browsable categories for quick access to categorized content using category metadata present in feeds and documents; support for indexing content in 30 languages. These new features are available in all Editions of SearchBlox, including the SearchBlox Distributed Edition for Akamai EdgeComputing Platform. SearchBlox is available as a Web Component for all major J2EE Application Servers and as a standalone application for Windows and Mac OS X platforms. The SearchBlox FREE Edition is available free of charge and can index up to 1000 documents.
