Helius, Inc., a provider of business class data broadcasting solutions, and Harris Corporation Broadcast Communications Division have announced that Harris will integrate Helius' patented software with its H-Class Content Delivery Platform. The agreement is intended to create a new class of IP-ready video asset management products that extend the functionality of the platform's asset management capabilities.

The Harris H-Class Content Delivery Platform is designed to enable customers to use Media Exchange Format (MXF) metadata to search, retrieve, and manage content across their organization. By integrating the Helius technologies into this offering, Harris enables their customers to deliver MXF tagged content to any point on the network. This advancement allows organizations to catalog their existing library of content and extend the uses of this media. The H-Class platform also supports industry standard security, supporting digital certificates, and IPSec data encryption.
