Emic Networks, a provider of application clustering solutions for open source, has announced its partnership with Zenplex Inc., a technology-based company specializing in designing and integrating workflow solutions for the media, print, and publishing industries. Under the terms of this agreement, Zenplex will be offering Emic m/cluster solution to enterprise customers requiring high availability, reliability, and scalability services. Zenplex will become an official reseller and systems integrator of Emic m/cluster.

Emic m/cluster is a middleware solution that can be added to existing MySQL database applications transparently. In addition to m/cluster, Emic provides application clustering solutions for Apache servers with a/cluster and for the LAMP and LAMJ (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP/Python/PERL or JSP/J2EE) stacks with lamp/cluster and lamj/cluster.
