Google has released the Froogle wireless service, a new Google Labs experiment that is designed to enable users to instantly search the Web for products using Froogle product search from their WML-enabled cell phone. Users may find this service helpful when they are out shopping at a retail store and are interested in searching Froogle to compare prices online. Froogle, Google's product search service, directs users to Web sites that sell the products they are searching for. The Froogle wireless service is currently available on Google Labs at http://labs.google.com. To use the Froogle wireless service: from a WML-enabled phone, point the browser to http://wml.froogle.com; enter search terms in the box and select the 'Search' button; and use the phone's keypad arrows to scroll through the results.
