Copernic, a provider of search solutions for the small-to-medium-sized enterprise (SME), has announced the opening of its first United States office. Based in Palo Alto, California the offices will serve as Copernic's U.S. headquarters and will be led by a sales team from Verity and Inktomi. This move is the first in an expansion plan that includes additional office openings in the U.S. and Europe. Copernic's U.S. offices will be lead by three new sales executives, Eric Negler, director of U.S. sales, Richard Klemmer, territory sales representative, Eastern U.S., and Tonita Otero, territory sales representative, Western U.S.
