Groxis, Inc., a provider of visual information management software, has announced the beta release of its Google plug-in, a software module for Grokker, the desktop search and personal data-mining tool. Available as a free beta to Grokker customers, the Google plug-in enables users to query and retrieve information from Google and visualize the results in a Grokker map. The Google plug-in is the latest addition to data sources available through Grokker2, a search application framework, which also features plug-ins for Amazon and other Web search engines and content feeds.

Groxis also announced its Grokker SDK, a software development kit that is designed to enable developers to quickly create their own custom plug-ins to virtually any content feed or data source available on a network. The SDK will give developers access to many of Grokker's content management capabilities, visualization tools, and more. The SDK will be made freely available to registered developers of the Grokker SDK program, found on the company Web site at: www.groxis.com/service/grok/g_developer.html.
