Autonomy Corporation plc. has announced that Daticon, a provider of document management and litigation support services, has selected Autonomy's information infrastructure technology to automate the aggregation, classification, and delivery of litigation documents.

Daticon offers a portfolio of document management services, including electronic data discovery, image scanning, coding-indexing, technology sourcing, and Internet Repository services. Daticon's litigation support products and services are used by enterprises and law offices to convert millions of pages of electronic documents--such as email, memos, letters and presentations and other evidence--into searchable, image-enabled databases. Using Autonomy's technology, Daticon expects to automatically discover, process, and index this data, thereby reducing the time necessary to assemble and retrieve information relevant to clients' cases.

Autonomy's Intelligent Data Operating Layer (IDOL) integrates unstructured, semi-structured, and structured information from multiple repositories. Autonomy allows enterprises the flexibility to use advanced information retrieval or legacy-based approaches. Autonomy's software is designed to process text, voice and video, and identify and rank the main concepts within them. It then categorizes, links, summarizes, personalizes, and delivers that information. Autonomy's infrastructure technology is used to automate operations within enterprise information portals, customer relationship management, knowledge management, business intelligence and ebusiness applications, among others.
