Recommind, Inc. has announced MindServer Legal, a text management system developed specifically for law firms. MindServer Legal features concept-based search that is designed to enable attorneys and legal staff to quickly find documents stored in multiple systems across the firm with one search. Recommind has developed a product that combines patented search and categorization technologies in an effort to deliver the most accurate and automated enterprise search solution. MindServer Legal is designed to find relevant documents even if the search term is not mentioned in the body of a document, ranks results by relevance, highlights search terms to reveal the most useful portion of a document, and automatically groups results into categories such as author, client matter, office, or practice area. MindServer Legal supports more than 100 document formats and more than 30 languages and will be available at the end of March. Recommind has also announced the addition of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP, to its list of legal customers. Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP has selected Recommind to power its internal document search functions.
