ITV Chooses Espotting Media
Posted Nov 18, 2003 Print Version     Page 1of 1

Espotting Media has struck a deal to power both search and content across the ITV Network of sites, replacing Overture as their paid listings provider. Highlights of the deal include: an exclusive deal across ITV's network of Web sites, which includes ITV Football, Formula 1, Pop Idol, Who Wants to be a Millionaire, and I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here. Espotting will provide both its search functionality and its Content Monetization Solution (which is also referred to as contextual advertising) across ITV's properties. In addition to integrating their listings on approximately 45 ITV program sites, Espotting's listings will also be served across ITV's main channels (eg: TV Guide, Entertainment, Weather, Soaps & Dramas). Relevant Espotting listings will also be featured on alongside editorial stories, for example, rugby related Espotting listings will be appearing in the channel Sport > Rugby World Cup > News. The deal will be extended to include any new programs ITV launches. Integration of the deal will begin in December.
