anacubis, a division of the i2 Group, specializing in visual analysis software for intelligence professionals, is unveiling a free visual analysis application with content from Amazon.com and Google that is designed to demonstrate a new way to perform online research and analysis.

The anacubis-enabled Amazon.com/Google Visual Search offers a simple and engaging way to see how the anacubis technology turns text-based information into a graphical representation of a topic. Built on a combination of Amazon and Google Web Services, this new anacubis application is the first to combine multiple online information libraries to create a single view of related information from different sources. As a result, users can query Amazon.com's database of thousands of DVDs, videos, books, and CDs, receive a snapshot of the directors, writers, and actors related to their search, explore their other works and credits, and click-through to purchase an item directly from Amazon.com.

From there, users can cross reference their findings with fan, movie review, and other related sites pulled from Google's Web documents. The results appear as a chart that shows how information is related with simple icons and links. These charts can be manipulated, printed, saved, and distributed using the anacubis View Manager, which is available to download free of charge from the anacubis Web site. The anacubis-enabled Amazon.com/Google Visual Search can be accessed free of charge by logging on to: www.anacubis.com/amazondemo. All commissions earned by anacubis from purchases made through the Amazon.com Associates Program will be donated to charity.
