Convera and Merrill Corporation have announced that Convera's RetrievalWare search and categorization technology has been embedded in Merrill Discovery Navigator, Merrill's new Web-based litigation software system that provides customized, multiple-user access to discovery databases. Merrill Discovery Navigator provides automated, role-based views that streamline navigation through volumes of complex litigation data. Searching, reviewing, document cataloging and production are simplified as a result of the user interface and workflow features of Merrill Discovery Navigator. Convera's search technology offers: precise searching on scanned documents; a streamlined process for repetitive searching; and enhanced folder searching. The folder searching feature will be added to Merrill Discovery Navigator in a future version release.
