iPhrase Technologies, Inc., a provider of self-service search and navigation software, has announced that Linsco/ Private Ledger (LPL), an independent brokerage firm specializing in providing customized financial advice, launched iPhrase One Step on its extranet to provide the firm's representatives with advanced search and navigation capabilities. LPL will initially use iPhrase One Step to search unstructured Web content and documents on the firm's extranet, allowing LPL representatives to access fundamental information such as research documents, operational procedures, FAQs and online tutorials. LPL also plans to extend One Step to search structured databases, granting representatives access to stock research and screening capabilities. Features of One Step include: high levels of relevancy; dynamic presentation of results; access to all data and documents; in-depth analytics; and support for diverse user expression.
