More than a million reviews on more than 700,000 books are now searchable with the expansion of the Book Review Digest-which has now become Book Review Digest Plus. Available on WilsonWeb, Book Review Digest Plus draws content from thousands of periodicals beyond the former base of 109. Users can now retrieve full-text reviews in addition to excerpts and citations, and-besides general fiction and nonfiction-reference works, books for children and textbooks are covered. Book Review Digest Plus lets users search reviews by keyword, book title, article title, author, source, and more. "Master" records for each book, linking to reviews from various publications, make for convenient and comprehensive searching. A library holdings indicator (linking to the library's OPAC) lets users know if they'll find cited books and periodicals on the shelves. The new Book Review Digest Plus extends the coverage once offered by Book Review Digest, drawing review content from WilsonWeb periodicals databases including: Readers' Guide Full Text; Wilson Business Full Text; Humanities Full Text; Education Full Text; Art Full Text; General Science Full Text; Library Literature & Information Science Full Text; Applied Science & Technology Full Text; Biological & Agricultural Index; Index to Legal Periodicals & Books; and Social Sciences Full Text. Book Review Digest Plus is updated daily, and retrospective coverage reaches as far back as 1983. The classic Book Review Digest remains available on CD-ROM and in print.
