MetaLINCS, a provider of Electronic Discovery software, has announced the general availability of the MetaLINCS eDiscovery application, featuring guided electronic message analysis software. The MetaLINCS eDiscovery application is commercially available software that speeds up the process of discovering relevant information within electronic messages and documents. The MetaLINCS eDiscovery application is designed to allow corporate attorneys, investigators, and litigators to make better decisions earlier, boost discovery productivity, and ensure consistency across cases. The MetaLINCS eDiscovery application combines a guided discovery process with a visual representation of the relationships between people, events, time, documents, and communication patterns.

Features of the MetaLINCS E-Discovery application include: Core Discovery Features, which include processing, indexing, search, review, reporting, and production; Visual Analysis, which presents visual analysis of people, events, time, documents, concepts, and communication patterns; People Analysis, which displays a network of the most important people and the communication patterns for any topic, revealing unexpected parties and guiding investigators to the relevant conversations; Thread Analysis, which identifies the complete set of threads relevant to any topic and organizes them into groups of related threads (side conversations), guiding investigators to important messages that might otherwise be missed and providing the full context to correctly interpret each message; Related Concepts, which dynamically and automatically suggests additional key words and phrases to analyze. Helps discover relevant terminology used in documents and messages without the need for user-defined taxonomies; Multi-Dimensional Search, which retrieves relevant messages, documents, threads, people, and concepts for any search query; Dynamic Directory, which automatically categorizes results into 8 dimensions; Collaboration, where queries and results can be organized, saved in folders, annotated, marked, and shared by investigation teams; and a Document Acquisition Engine, which extracts documents and messages from diverse sources; normalizes, categorizes and indexes information; and integrates additional metadata from corporate directories.
